Dot and Dash parties styled this gorgeous Butterfly Tea party as told by Margit from Dot and Dash.
"This party was close to my heart and very reflective of my personal style. It was inspired by this quote from "The Butterfly" by Hans Christan Anderson: "Just living is not enough said the butterfly. One must also have sunshine freedom and a little flower". Seeing white butterflies in the backyard all summer long and the idea that children should be free - especially in the summer set the wheels into motion for the event. The so very talented Alyssa, of Alyssa Fortin Photography, took this set up and made it shine to the fullest. I can't thank her enough for truly taking this event to the next level. At the party the girls dressed up as butterflies, sipped tea (pink lemonade), enjoyed treats from the dessert table featuring fabulous cupcakes from Sadie Mae's Cupcake Cafe, a gorgeous cake by cakewish, cookies by Lisa as well as various other candies. They colored in butterflies which were added to clay pots filled with grass seed for them to enjoy at home. They also danced around a may pole and played in the yard. In all this was such a great collaboration and I could not feel any happier with how it turned out or more thankful to the wonderful artists and little butterflies who all made it so special."
